This
is the golfing experience of a lifetime

golf courses while you stay at one of Kwa

a few minutes from the sea.
Mt
Edgecombe has its own driving range which gives you
all the practice you need. Plus you have two
championship golf courses on the estate –
literally on your doorstep. |
 Whilst
staying at Fairways, you’re ideally situated to play
at some of our top-rated South African golf courses.
We have two courses ranked in the top 10 and another three
in the top 30 within a half hour drive and the Wild
Coast Sun is only a two-hour drive away. There are
plenty of other courses worth a round – we’ll
happily make the arrangements for you.
Our
package is unique. Why?
We
offer you the opportunity to “build your own tour”
– mixing the amount of golf you will play, and on what
courses. Thus the length (and cost) of the package is highly
specific to your needs. Of course, if you rather we did it
for you, then we’re happy to do that – let us
know your budget and time frame and we’ll do the rest!
Another
unique feature is that each day of the package offers alternatives
for non-golf playing partners.
There
are leisure days and half-day tours and outings too, so that
you are able to spend some time off the course exploring game
reserves, mountains, local culture and lots more. The
choice is yours. Each outing is priced individually for you
to pick and choose. All tours will be led by a qualified
tour guide.
Plus
we’re five minutes away from the biggest shopping complex
in the Southern Hemisphere with restaurants, shops, movie
complexes and live theatre. And five minutes from that, there’s
Umhlanga Rocks – one of South Africa’s most famous
Blue Flag beaches.

bookshops, movies and the theatre … and plenty
more!

A Day at Zimbali
Zimbali
Golf Club is a 6 524 m / par 72 course, currently ranked 19th.
The back nine at Zimbali is played among thick coastal vegetation
on steeply undulating terrain. Add the coastal winds and it
is a stern test for any golfer

on the coast for some gambling if you like and a tour
of their cultural village

of South Africa’s golf courses, having hosted the South

watching the ships come in. If you haven’t already
done so, now’s the time to visit uShaka Marine

Peter Matkovich who designed this course in 1994, said of
it “the finest piece of land Ion which I’ve had
the opportunity to design a golf course. The topography is
ideal and allows for tremendous variation”. A 5 834m
/ par 72 course, currently ranked at 23.

a big day planned for you! We’re taking you north
– through the canelands and forests of Eshowe,
to Shakaland where you’ll experience Zulu culture
first hand. Follow the life of Zululand’s most
famous king, Shaka; drink Zulu beer with the Chief and
his wives. Watch a spectacular dance show, and feast
on traditional foods.
